Our Story
What if there was a youth-sports organization that actually put girls first - where there was a space designed just for them, where they could thrive in a safe, positive environment that met their needs everyday?
The Women's Sports Foundation has been studying the decrease in participation in youth sports for middle and high school girls for over 25 years. Girls stop playing for many reasons such as lack of access to opportunities, social stigma and pressure, decrease in quality of experiences, few positive role models and female coaches, and lack of confidence. We have witnessed this first hand while raising our own daughters where opportunities for girls over the age of ten dwindle significantly - and it's not because the girls don't want to play (THEY DO!).
At Fast Break Philly, we believe in the power of sports to inspire and empower. Join us in redefining what it means to play like a girl. Together, let's finally put girls first.
A Note About Gender Identity and Inclusion
We want to highlight that anytime we use the word "girl" or "girls" it is inclusive of any child that self-identifies as a girl or non-binary.

Our Mission
Fast Break Philly is dedicated to inspiring and empowering girls through sports with a focus on providing equitable access to training, mentorship, and competitive opportunities while fostering confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
We create a supportive environment where young athletes can thrive both on and off the field. We value inclusivity, determination, and sportsmanship. Fast Break is more than just a club; it's a community where girls can grow, learn, and excel.
